Day Trips to Punta Blanca
Enjoy an adventurous trip to Punta Blanca, a secluded beach on the outskirts of Cerro Hoya National Park. On your way there, stop for a swim in Pedregal River. Then continue on to Punta Blanca, a vast private black sand beach. Upon arriving in Punta Blanca you can explore secret coves and tide pools, go for a relaxing swim, explore refreshing rivers and collect shells.
The trip leaves in the morning and lunch is included, as well as water and juice, back in time for dinner. Trips depend on weather; large amounts of rain can wash out the road.
Price per person is US$35; includes drinks and box lunch.
Horseback Riding
Cambutal being a cowboy country you will see horses used as a major form of transportation. You can enjoy riding horses down the beach or to nearby nature sites.
Nothing will beat witnessing either sunrise or sunset while horseback riding.
Price per person: US$15 per 2 hours per person. Flat rate.
