Even though we witness these natural events every year its hard not to get excited! Seeing a gentle giant breaching the water or tiny baby sea turtles nudging their way towards the sounds of the ocean. WE love it! And we love to see and hear about our guests having amazing experiences seeing these events also.
The Cambutal turtle group, Tortuagro with the help of Tortuguias is doing a phenomenal job of conserving our local sea turtle populations. From July to December you can help them by taking a guided night tour to see nesting mother sea turtles and from August to December you can witness the daily unassisted releasing of baby sea turtles as they make their way to the ocean for the first time.
From August to Early November you can have your breathe taken away by the sheer beauty of witnessing migrating humpback whales off the coast of Cambutal.
